Deonne Brown Benedict grew up in the Seattle area. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner, having graduated from the University of Florida in 1996.
"Dr. Deonne" got her undergraduate nursing degree from Seattle Pacific University and obtained her doctorate in nursing practice in 2005. She practices evidence-based comprehensive care and enjoys promoting wellness for the entire family. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of women, children, and patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma, and depression. She is an assistant professor at Seattle University and has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Journal of Nursing Education, The Nurse Practitioner, and Clinician Reviews. Dr. Deonne is on the board of the state nurse practitioner organization.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, running road races, and hiking.
